Note that only one online application has to be made for both the exams.

Important

Certificates related to caste, date of birth, local resident etc. are not being taken along with the online application. All the certificates of the candidate will be examined by the appointing authority before appointment. Vyapam will not be responsible for any wrong information provided by the candidate. The entire responsibility for this will be his own.

If any error correction is required in the previously filled application, then get the error rectified within the given days. After the last date given for error correction, no application regarding error correction will be accepted by Vyapam at any stage of the examination process. Based on the entries in the application form, the result of the examination will be issued. Any application sent in hard copy / soft copy for error correction will not be accepted by Vyapam.

No error correction facility will be provided in the OMR answer sheet on the day of examination.

Before filling the application form, read the eligibility rules issued by the department thoroughly, read the necessary guidelines very carefully and see the sample form (sample application form).

Make sure to take a print out of the filled online application.

Candidates scan their own photograph in .jpg/.jpeg format and keep it as a file. Whose maximum size is 60 kb and minimum size is 40 kb, save it. (Keep the file name in alphanumeric, don't use gaps and dots)

Candidates should also scan the photograph of their own signature and keep it in a separate .jpg/.jpeg format as a file. Whose maximum size is 40 kb and minimum size is 20 kb, save it.

Due to the Kovid 19 epidemic, it will be mandatory for all the candidates to follow the guidelines issued by the state government from time to time.

Important Information

1. Eligibility:

Regarding eligibility for application, see departmental eligibility rules. Only those candidates who fulfill the conditions given in the Departmental Eligibility Rules will be eligible. Merely sending the application form or appearing in the examination does not make the candidate eligible.

After the last date of online application, the candidate has to correct the following errors in the filled application.

1. Any application sent to VYAPAM in hard copy / soft copy for error correction will not be accepted.

2. For error correction, the candidate will enter his registration ID by going to "Track Application Status". Then Captcha will enter. Thereafter OTP will be available on his e-mail and mobile. After entering the OTP, the candidate will see his online application. 3. Candidate can rectify the entries made earlier in his/her online application.

4. No error correction facility will be given in the OMR answer sheet.

5. The facility of error correction will be available from the starting date of filling the online application till the last date of online application.to fill


6. No representation regarding error correction will be accepted after the examination and after the result of the examination.

4. Admit Card Information


Before the exam, the admit card will be uploaded on this website, to get it, you can get it online by entering your 15 character registration ID in this website. Keep the admit card with you even after the exam. It has to be presented at the time of counselling. The duplicate admit card will not be supplied by Vyapam. No separate admit card will be sent through the post office.

6. Course Information

The syllabus prescribed for the examination is available on the "Syllabus" link of the website, which should be inspected, if considered necessary, the print out should be obtained.

7. Entrance to the Examination Hall:

(a) Candidates should bring only the following material to the examination hall

(1) Examination Admit Card (Admit Card) - If the photo is not printed in the admit card received from online, then go to the examination center with two color passport size photographs.

(2) Blue/Black stoppen.

(3) The candidates will come to the examination center only with original identity proofs such as Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, Voter ID, so that their identity can be ensured. From appearing in the examination in the absence of the original identity card

8. Exam Pattern:

Only objective type questions based on the respective courses will be asked for the above eligibility tests.

9. Evaluation Methodology:

Four possible answers will be given to each question. Only one of these answers will be the correct or most appropriate answer. One mark will be awarded for marking the correct answer or most appropriate answer and zero marks for marking the other answer or more than one answer. Zero for the questions whose answers will not be marked by the examinee.

Points will be awarded. Negative marks will not be given.

10. RESOLUTION OF CLAIM/OBJECTION:

After the completion of the examination, model answer is prepared by Vyapam after analyzing the question paper from the subject experts and it is displayed on the website of Vyapam. If any candidate has an objection to the model answer issued by Vyapam, then within the stipulated period send the attested claim / objection in the prescribed format (Proof of any guide book will not be valid.) personally on the portal of Vyapam. The claim/objection for each question will have to be submitted separately. Any number of questions on which claim/objection is presented separately will be considered. Claim/objection without proof will be rejected. The claim / objection received is resolved by the subject experts after careful examination and after necessary amendment or cancellation in the model answer, the final answer is prepared, which is displayed on the website of Vyapam and on the basis of that the answer sheet is evaluated by Vyapam. is done . 11. Incorrect question, its cancellation and mark given in lieu:

After the examination, the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board prepares the final answer after examining each question from the subject experts, model answer and after resolving the claim/objection. 1. Background:-

According to the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 23 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, among the minimum qualifications prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education for eligibility for appointment as a teacher in classes I to VIII, Simultaneously, it has been declared mandatory for the participants to qualify the Teacher Eligibility Test. On this basis, Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CGTET) is being organized by the state for the third time.


2. Provisions regarding Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test :-

i. This examination will be only a qualification for the appointment of teachers. It cannot be treated as an order for appointment to a teaching post.

ii. Para 2 (n) of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009

This will be an essential qualification for the appointment of teachers in all the schools mentioned in

iv. To be eligible for this exam, candidates will need to get minimum 60% marks.

v. According to the prevailing rules, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) and Divyang candidates will be required to secure minimum 50% marks for eligibility in this examination. All categories of disabled candidates will be eligible for exemption in application fee and examination fee. vi. The marks obtained in this test can be used for calculation as surcharge for teacher selection. The surcharge will be determined by the appointee.

vii. This validity will be for life for the candidate once passed the examination. viii. Successfully declared candidate can appear in the upcoming examination to improve his/her marks.

ix. In the event of securing the minimum prescribed marks or more in the examination, an eligibility certificate will be issued which will be required to be produced at the time of appointment. Only mark sheets will be given to other candidates.

3. Minimum Qualifications for appearing in Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test :-


(i) Separate teacher eligibility tests will be conducted for teaching at primary and upper primary level. The minimum qualifications for these exams are as follows:

(1) For teaching in classes one to five


(a) Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and appearing or passed in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name called).

Or

Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002, Appearing or passed in the final year of

Or

Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and appearing or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Or

Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and appearing or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Or

Graduation and appearing or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

Or

"Graduation with 50% marks and appearing or passed in the final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)"

One who has completed Bachelor of Education from an institution recognized by NCTE shall be considered for appointment as a teacher to teach classes I to V, but the person so appointed as a teacher shall be appointed as a primary teacher. Must have compulsorily completed a bridge course of 6 months duration in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE within two years from the date of admission.

Note:

(31) Reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC (Non-Chemical Layer)/Specially Handicapped etc. candidates will be given a relaxation of up to 5% marks in the qualifying marks.

(B) Diploma/Degree Course in Teacher Education: In the context of this notification, only the Diploma/Degree course in Teacher Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) shall be valid. For Diploma in Pedagogy (Special Education) and B.Ed (Special Education) only courses recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (Rehabilitation Council of India) will be valid.

Special Compulsory Training: A person having D.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education), he/she will be required to undergo six months special training in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE after appointment.

The minimum qualifications specified above are applicable for teachers of Language, Social Studies/Social Science, Mathematics, Science etc. The minimum eligibility criteria for physical education teachers as mentioned in the NCTE Regulations, dated 3 November 2001 (as amended from time to time) in respect of physical education teachers will be applicable. The existing eligibility criteria prescribed by the State Government and other school managements for teachers of art education, craft education, home science, work education etc. will continue to be applicable till the NCTE sets the minimum qualification in respect of such teachers.

(e) A person pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by NCTE or RCI, as the case may be) mentioned in the NCTE notification dated 29th July, 2011 shall be eligible to appear in CGTET.

Structure and Contents for Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test:

1. The questions asked in the Teacher Eligibility Test will be multiple choice and each question will be given four options.

2. Each test will be of two hours and thirty minutes duration in which total 150 questions will be asked. Each question will be of one mark. There will be no provision of negative marks for wrong answers.

3. The first paper will be for a person who wants to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5. The second paper will be for a person who wants to become a teacher for class 6 to 8.

Note:- A person who wants to become a teacher for both the level (Class 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 8) will have to appear in both the papers (I and II).

All questions will be asked in two languages ​​(Hindi and English).

Nature and Level of Question Paper

Paper I (for teaching classes one to five)

1. Child Development and Pedagogy

Questions related to this topic Educational psychology of children in the age group 6 to 11 and

will be based on the knowledge of their learning and teaching process etc. While preparing for this topic, understanding the individual differences of children and determining the teaching-learning processes based on their needs, the role of the teacher as a better facilitator to make the learning process successful in the classroom and different types of teaching-learning processes. Knowledge of classroom interactions and questions related to modern teaching methods and techniques will be asked.


2. Language - 1 (Hindi)

Through this question paper, language proficiency, comprehension and communication skills of teachers as well as use of language in daily life will be tested. In the teaching of various subjects, it is necessary to have a basic knowledge of the language which is being used as the medium of instruction. From this point of view this subject has been kept in this exam as a compulsory subject.


3. Language – 2 (English)

Through this question paper, questions based on information related to language skills, comprehension and communication skills of teachers will be asked in English. The question papers will be prepared from the level up to class 12, keeping in mind the level of teaching in the primary classes.


4. Mathematics

The purpose of the questions asked in Mathematics will be to test the principles, problems and pedagogical understanding of this subject. These questions will be based on the syllabus of classes 1 to 5. Questions based on understanding of how to successfully deliver various subject-related content to children and knowledge of classroom teaching processes in different situations may be asked.


5. Environmental Studies

The purpose of the questions asked in the subject of environmental studies will be to examine the principles, problems and pedagogical understanding of this subject. These questions will be based on the syllabus of classes 1 to 5 but questions related to them can be asked up to class 12th level. Through this question paper, teachers will be able to learn about the environment around them, through them the skills of children to understand and apply information on various burning issues and to make better use of the various resources available in the environment around them with their understanding. Skills can be tested.


Paper II (for teaching classes VI to VIII)

1. Child Development and Pedagogy

The questions related to this topic will be based on the knowledge of educational psychology of children in the age group of 11 to 14 and their learning and teaching process etc. An understanding of the individual differences of children and their needs while preparing for this topic


Questions will be asked on the basis of teaching-learning processes, role of teacher as a better facilitator to make learning process successful in the classroom and knowledge of different types of classroom interactions and modern teaching methods, techniques.


Language 1 (Hindi)

4 Science and Maths


The purpose of the questions asked in Science and Mathematics will be to test the principles, problems and pedagogical understanding of this subject. These questions will be based on the syllabus of classes 6 to 8, but the material related to them up to graduation level can also be checked through this question paper. Questions based on understanding of how to successfully deliver various subject-related content to children and knowledge of classroom teaching processes in different situations may be asked. 5. Social Studies

The purpose of the questions asked in the subject of social studies will be to examine the principles, problems and pedagogical understanding of this subject. These questions will be based on the syllabus of class 6 to 8 but questions related to them can be asked at the graduate level. Through this question paper, teachers will learn about the environment around them, through them the skills of children to understand and apply information on various burning issues and to make better use of the various resources available in their surrounding environment with their understanding. Skills can be tested.


2. Out of the options given in the form of answer, more than one option is correct and any answer is the most.

3. There are no suitable answers. Neither option is correct.

4. There should be difference in Hindi and English version of a question, due to which different meanings of both are given and no single correct answer is clear.

There may have been a printing error so that the correct answer may not be obtained.

According to the recommendation made by the subject-expert committee, for such canceled questions, Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board provides marks to all the candidates in proportion to the marks scored by them in the examination, regardless of whether he has solved the canceled questions or not. .

For example out of a question paper of 150 questions carrying total marks of 150, 03 questions are rejected and after evaluation the candidate obtains 102 marks out of 147 questions.

So the calculation of marks including bonus points will be as follows = 104.08

Total No. of Correct Answers x Total Questions / Total Questions - Total Questions Canceled

102 x 150/150-3 = 104.08

Merit will be decided on this basis.

12. EXAMINATION RESULT :

The ranking list will be declared by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board on the basis of the rules of the concerned department. Candidates can check their result on Vyapam's website vyapam.cgstate.gov.in and can get the print.

13. Marksheet :

After the declaration of the result by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, the candidate's mark list

14. Recalculation/Revaluation

Evaluation of answer sheet by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. M. R. This is done by machine, so there is no provision for recalculation/revaluation.

15. JURISDICTION :

In case of any legal dispute, the jurisdiction shall be confined to the High Court of Chhattisgarh State.
