The Speaker, Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries will hoist the tricolor in the main function organized in the district headquarters.
Independence Day will be celebrated with full dignity and enthusiasm on 15th August 2022 in the state. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will unfurl the flag at the main function organized at the Police Parade Ground in the capital Raipur.
On the occasion of Independence Day, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant will unfurl the flag in the main function organized at Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district headquarters. In other district headquarters, ministers and parliamentary secretaries will hoist the national flag and read the chief minister's message to the people of the state.
Similarly, Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdeo Sarguja, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey Durg, Home and Public Works Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu Bemetara, Forest and Climate Change Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar Kabirdham, Food and Culture Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat Rajnandgaon, Revenue Minister Shri Jai Singh Agrawal Korba, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Anila Bhediya Balod, Higher Education Minister Shri Umesh Patel Raigad, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam Surajpur, Industries Minister Shri Kawasi Lakhma Sukma, Public Health Engineering and Village Industries Minister Shri Guru Rudrakumar Mungeli and Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria will hoist the flag at Janjgir-Champa.
Similarly, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Rekhchand Jain Bijapur, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vinod Sevenlal Chandrakar Mahasamund, Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Smt.
