Prevention is always better than cure. If we know that with the passage of time something can become dangerous then it is better to take precautionary measures to deal with the danger. Following this statement, the District Administration and Health Department is going to run a special campaign for COVID-19 vaccination on another large scale on 10th, 12th and 16th August. In this campaign, a target of 8 lakh 59 thousand beneficiaries has been kept for 18 plus precaution dose, special attention will be given in this campaign on booster dose to give extra strength to the immune system.
This great campaign will be organized in all the urban and rural areas. Under which the vaccination session will be organized in the municipal areas, along with arrangements by the employees and officers of the municipal corporation, will work to mobilize the people and take the beneficiaries to the vaccination session site. The employees of the district panchayat will also take the beneficiaries to the vaccination site. will help. Nodal officers of all programs will be present in this campaign, who will make the campaign successful by monitoring at their respective block level and sub-divisional level.
So far, 98 percent success has been achieved in the age group of 18 to 59 years in terms of first dose and 96 percent success in terms of duty dose. A total of 1285 places have been selected in Durg, Bhilai, Nikum, Patan, Dhamdha and Charoda in this three-day special campaign of COVID-19 vaccination. In which 525 villages, 8 religious places, 11 schools, 8 offices, 4 industries, 14 wards and 720 other places have been selected. In these identified places, 1285 teams will make a meaningful effort to get 100% vaccination done in the Maha Abhiyan by preparing class wise and micro action plan of the missing eligible beneficiaries.
